While a blizzard blows outside, a man haunted by the suicide of his boyfriend finds himself in a endless loop of regret. When an unexpected woman arrives seeking help, her visit becomes more than chance.
This film was created as an exercise in the same way a 48 hr film challenge is done. Once again Lance R. Marshall and James E. Oxford of Watergun Outlaw Productions teamed up with Shannon Beeby and Ryan Jonze of BeeNest Films to test their film making skills further.
The team came together with no preset idea for a film. A cabin was rented for a couple of days in Upstate New York during what turned out to be a nasty blizzard in March of 2017. Using the cabin and the blizzard as inspiration. The team brainstormed ideas for a film. Then dialogue was roughly created by the two lead actors Lance R. Marshall and Shannon Beeby. Neither the dialogue nor the film idea was written down. The next morning the team began filming all day both inside and outside of the cabin during the Stella Blizzard. By the end of the day, this film is what we captured.
We’re always looking for ways to push ourselves and to test our skills. We’re looking forward to doing more in the near future.
